I was just asked this question yesterday. Does staging a vacant property for sale make a difference? I think it does, and many real estate agents would say the same thing. Staging even just the main floor living room, dining room, and kitchen is great if that is what your budget allows for. That is where the buyer gets their first impression. Virtual staging is also an option that is less expensive. Your real estate agent sends photos into the company and they send the photos back to them with furnishings in the photos. This could be a more budget friendly option. Check out these photos of an unstaged townhome in Edina that was trying to set a price record and took a while to sell, vs. a staged townhome in the same development that was priced right and sold fast with multiple offers. Both were from a few years ago in a market favorable to sellers. Both also faced the water.
